The mission of the Community and Economic Development program area is to develop sustainable communities and entrepreneurs through direct community outreach, strategic partnerships and resource development.
This is achieved through the implementation of research-based, innovative initiatives relating to small business development and sustainable communities conducted by staff members located throughout a multi-county region of southern West Virginia.
CED initiatives focus primarily on the overarching goals of ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENTand COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.
