The National “W” Club Association is honored to welcome you to the 29th annual West Virginia State University Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. This class represents athletes from football, basketball, baseball, track, swimming and coaching with superb talent spread over 43 years. 

In January 2008, Dr. Hazo W. Carter, Jr. designated the Canty House as the official headquarters for the National "W" Club. The National “W” Club has continually worked to enhance the athletic programs at “State” by providing funds for scholarships, equipment, and the purchase of a motor coach. Contributions from members and friends made all of this possible. With your help, our donations to athletics now exceed $350,000.
